Young People in Hockey
All young people have the right to feel safe, included and supported in hockey. We follow England Hockey’s safeguarding policy to ensure that every child and young person enjoys the sport free from harm.
At Redditch Hockey Club, a young person is defined as anyone under the age of 18.
We are committed to promoting the welfare of all young people and protecting them from harm, alongside the wider hockey family.
Safeguarding advice and support are available through our Club Welfare Officers and the England Hockey Ethics & Welfare Team.
Concerns will always be taken seriously, with clear reporting procedures in place.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility
