CLUB LOTTERY.
Ensure The Club’s Future While Having Fun & Probably Profiting.

Our facilities are now some of the best in the area and we intend to keep them this way. This means raising more funds. There are many ways of doing this, for instance by increasing bar sales. However still more is needed thus the Club Lottery based on the numbers drawn in Saturday’s National Lottery.

How The Game Operates:-

To join you must be 16 years of age or over and the scheme is restricted to club members and their families. Those joining choose 6 numbers from 1 to 49. A player may have more than one line.

The numbers drawn in each Saturday’s main National Lottery Draw are then used to ‘blank’ out the numbers chosen by players, like Bingo. On the odd occasion when the draw is not on a Saturday the closest draw will be used. The Bonus Ball number does not count.

The numbers drawn roll forward weekly until a player has all six numbers blanked, probably about 3 to 4 weeks. If there is more than one winner the prize will be shared. The sequence of the numbers drawn in the National Lottery in any one week is not relevant. After a win a new game starts the following week from scratch. New players may join at any time but the best time is immediately after a win.

Cost £1 per week, £52 per year, payable by Standing Order at the start of each month, £4.33 per month.
50% of the fund will be for prizes the other 50% to cover costs of the game and maintain facilities. For example if there are 200 members and 5 win after 3 weeks each will receive £60.

To join complete the attached forms and return them either by post or e.mail to Dave Eley at the address below. Remember to keep a note of the numbers you have chosen. The Club will submit your Standing Order to your bank for you. Each week you can your progress on the Lottery Noticeboard just inside the main door into the Clubhouse, numbers drawn and prizes won are displayed weekly. So far all prizes have been over £100 each, so those lucky members are well into profit.
